Last updated: 24 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how edgentia ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit edgentia.com (the "Site"). We are committed to processing personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable French data-protection law.

1. Data controller

The data controller responsible for your personal data is edgentia, established in Lyon, France. You can reach us at [email protected] for any privacy-related request.

2. What data we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the request a demo or request a license forms, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, work email, company, role, and information about your plant or use case — so we can respond to you.

Analytics data (consent-based)

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the Site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser type, referring source). IP addresses are anonymised. No analytics cookies are set, and no analytics data is collected, until you consent via our cookie banner.

Security data

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-preserving anti-bot mechanism that processes limited technical signals to distinguish humans from bots. Our infrastructure provider also processes connection data (e.g. IP address) as needed to deliver and secure the Site.

3. Why we process your data and our legal basis

4. Cookies

The Site uses a small number of cookies. Analytics cookies load only after consent. For details and how to change your choice, see our Cookie Policy.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers ("processors") acting on our behalf:

6. International transfers

Some providers (e.g. Google, Cloudflare) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep data

We keep form/enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship, then delete or anonymise it. Google Analytics data is retained according to our GA4 retention setting (up to 14 months) and then automatically deleted.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
