Cookie Policy
Last updated: 24 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies edgentia.com uses, what they do, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make sites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owners.
2. The cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
These are required for the Site to function and to keep it secure, and do not require consent:
- Cloudflare Turnstile — anti-bot protection on our forms; may set short-lived technical tokens.
- Theme / consent preference — your light/dark choice and your cookie-consent choice are stored locally in your browser so we can respect them. These are not used for tracking.
Analytics (only with your consent)
These help us understand how visitors use the Site. They are disabled by default and only set after you select "Accept" in the cookie banner:
- Google Analytics 4 (
_ga,_ga_<id>) — distinguishes visitors and measures usage. Typical lifetime up to 13 months. IP addresses are anonymised, and Google Consent Mode keeps GA in a cookieless state until you consent.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Managing your consent
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Reject analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time:
- Use the Cookie preferences link (also in the footer) to reopen the banner.
- Or clear cookies/site data for edgentia.com in your browser settings, which resets your choice.
You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser; note that strictly-necessary functions may be affected.
4. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies evolves. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
